At China Grove Church of Christ, we are a spiritual family shaped by the New Testament and empowered by the Spirit to live out authentic relationships with God and one another. Our mission flows from Scripture and is expressed through meaningful connection, life‑changing discipleship, and Christ‑centered service.
Building relationships that reflect Christ’s welcome.
Just as Romans 15:7 calls us to “welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you,” we open our arms to people from every walk of life. We believe relationships are essential to the Christian journey, and like the early believers in Acts 2:46–47, we gather “with glad and sincere hearts,” growing together in joy, unity, and praise.
At China Grove Church of Christ, connection isn’t a program — it’s a family where you can belong, be known, and be encouraged in your walk with God.
Growing together as followers of Jesus.
Jesus commissions us in Matthew 28:19–20 to “go and make disciples… teaching them to obey everything” He commanded. We take this call to heart. Discipleship here is relational, not mechanical — we learn together, ask questions together, and walk side by side as we follow Christ.
Through Scripture, we’re shaped and strengthened, because 2 Timothy 3:16–17 reminds us that “all Scripture is God‑breathed… so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
At China Grove, discipleship is about transformation — hearts being molded by God’s Word and lives bearing the fruit of His Spirit.
Living out Christ’s love in practical, compassionate ways.
We believe service is an overflow of love. Scripture tells us in Galatians 5:13 to “serve one another humbly in love,” and in 1 Peter 4:10, we are reminded that each of us has received gifts to “serve others as faithful stewards of God’s grace.”
At China Grove Church of Christ, serving is relational — it’s how we show Christ’s compassion to our neighbors, encourage the weary, meet needs, and reflect the heart of Jesus in our community. Whether inside the church family or beyond our walls, we seek to be His hands and feet.
At the Church of Christ, the role of elders is rooted in the biblical pattern of shepherding—a role of care, guidance, and loving leadership. Elders, also known as shepherds, are called to reflect the heart of Jesus, the Good Shepherd, by tending to the spiritual and practical needs of the congregation.

Welcome to the Church of Christ in China Grove. Rooted firmly in New Testament teaching, we are a community built on meaningful relationships and authentic discipleship. We are not a social club or political forum, but a spiritual family devoted to caring for the hearts, souls, and needs of those around us.

United in love and anchored in truth, our mission is to make disciples who grow in Christ, embody His teachings, and lead others to follow Him.

Like the early church (Acts 10:34–35), we open our arms to people from all walks of life. Guided by God’s truth and inspired by Scripture (Romans 15:7; Galatians 3:28), we cultivate a welcoming environment where love, faith, and biblical truth shape every relationship.
